Copy Machines
Copy Machines in the past several years have really evolved in to digital output devices that can do much more then just black and white copying. For instance, fax copy machines can both copy and fax. Color copy machines are being used to create tabloids to T-shirts. With our huge selection of used copy machines available in our showroom, we should have the perfect copier to match your business requirements. To help you choose the right copier, here are a few questions to ask yourself.
- What do I need my used copy machine to do?
Today’s digital copy machines are referred to as multifunctional output devices because they can do so much more than just copy. So what are your office requirements? Think about processes within your office environment that might become more efficient with electronic scanning or network printing. Many businesses have found it is cheaper to print to a networked copier than a traditional stand alone laser printer.
- What is my copy volume?
If you are replacing an existing copy machine, start with your current copy volume. You can find this out by monitoring your copy machine meter for 90 days to help determine your current volume. Or if you have a current service contract it should show you previous print and copy volumes. After you have determined an approximate image volume, then increase it by at least 30%. This will help account for future growth, including using your refurbished copier as a copier printer and copier fax machine as well. Even though properly refurbished copiers will perform like new, an overworked copier is going to result in downtime and frustration.
- Other scenarios to consider.
There are many other helpful questions to ponder when evaluating the purchase of copy machines. Do you want fax copy machines, or color copy machines or used copy machines versus new copiers? CR's professional sales representatives will help you with these and any other questions you may have about the purchase or your copier.
